The safe way to lose weight is a combination of a nutritious diet and a great exercise regimen that stretches muscles, increases energy, and burns calories. However, the trouble with most people is that they only do one of two things, and in the extremes—in some people’s cases, extreme dieting. These are the people who should be reminded that in order to lose weight and keep it off them permanently, they actually have to eat right instead of resisting food.

How so? There are already many studies that have shown that eating more than 3 meals a day can lead to more weight loss and better metabolism as a result. Starving yourself only slows down your metabolism, causing your entire system to adjust. Therefore, when you start eating more, you quickly pile on the weight as your body believes that the portions have become too much to contain.

If you want to lose weight safely, you’ve got to eat the right kinds of food at the right intervals so that it stimulates healthy and permanent weight loss that people will be complimenting you about instead of worrying about. If you eat right, you won’t look like you need food, but rather, like someone who is healthy, fit, and has a glow about him or her that means that he or she must be eating right.
